Over the years, there have been many voices of the Emergency Alert System. Some voices are from NOAA, others are not. This page list all of the voices that the EAS has used.
(Note: Bolded voice names are extinct and can no longer be heard on thOld e EAS.)
Old Paul
Old Paul was the first TTS voice to be used by the National Weather Service for EAS and NWR alerts. It was retired in 2016 and can no longer be heard on any new alerts.
Craig
Craig was added sometime after Paul was created. Later replaced with Tom.
Donna
Donna was added along with Tom. It was retired in 2016 and can no longer be heard on any new alerts.
Tom
Tom replaced Craig later in NWR's TTS life. Also One of the most common NWR and EAS voices. It was retired in 2016 and can no longer be heard on any new alerts.
